About

I use photography as a means to document the world around me. I take pictures that call attention to things that other people overlook. This exploration of the overlooked helps me engage more deeply with where I am in space and time. My goal is to make photographs that draw viewers into the now. A focus on details keeps us in the present, it stops us from fretting on the future or regretting the past to tell a story.
My choice of subject comes from a place of intuition and is fueled by an impetuous desire to partake in the stories that unfold around me. I seek the unknown and I look for the light within the shadows, the stories that are not at first obvious and the uncommon in the common. I photograph people and buildings in their environments because I am curious of what lays behind their eyes, where they have been and where they hope to go. My photography evokes the passage of time with the stories they will tell of the historic past.
In addition to my passion for architectural photography, I also specialize in capturing the essence of individuals through portraits and headshots. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to storytelling, I approach each portrait session with the same curiosity and intuition that drives my exploration of buildings and landscapes. My goal is to not just capture a person's likeness, but to delve deeper into their story, to reveal the emotions and narratives that make each individual unique. Whether it's a professional headshot or a candid portrait, I strive to create images that resonate with authenticity and evoke a sense of connection. Through photography, I aim to document not only the physical world but also the human experience, celebrating the beauty and diversity of individuals in their environments
